FAQ section

Have questions about switching from BlendJet to BLENDi? Start here. These FAQs cover which model to pick, how BLENDi compares, and what to expect when you upgrade

I used to have a BlendJet. Which BLENDi should I choose?

If you were using your BlendJet for daily protein shakes or smoothies, start with our Pro+ model for the closest “everyday portable” feel. If you want a more powerful, premium-feeling upgrade with better insulation and capacity, our Steel model is the better fit.

Is BLENDi compatible with the way I used my BlendJet?

Yes. If you used your BlendJet for on-the-go shakes, smoothies, and light blending, BLENDi is designed to cover those same use cases. You still get cordless, portable blending that works at home, at the gym, at the office, or while traveling

How does BLENDi compare to BlendJet in power and performance?

Pro+ will be a tad more powerful and better at ice crushing

The Steel will be significantly better as its 180W and the most powerful blender. It also is insulated

Will BLENDi handle ice, frozen fruit, and thicker shakes?

Choose Pro+ or Steel if you regularly blend ice, frozen fruit, or thicker shakes. That way you’ll get a smooth blend that keeps up with your routine instead of struggling with tougher ingredients.

How easy is BLENDi to clean compared to BlendJet?

BLENDi is designed for quick, simple cleaning. Add water and a drop of soap, blend, then rinse, or follow the cleaning instructions for your specific model. That way you keep the same easy-clean routine you’re used to.

What if I’m not sure which BLENDi is closest to my old BlendJet?

If you’re unsure, start with our recommended Pro+ upgrade on this page. It’s chosen to give former BlendJet users a familiar portable feel with a better overall daily experience.

Love it!

I purchased the Blendi about a month ago and I love it! I'm a personal trainer and I'm on the run a lot going back and forth to multiple studios. It's nice to have a powerful portable blender like this. And it doesn't need to be changed very often. Great product!

Fantastic upgrade

This is my second go around with the Blendi product. I purchased the "Blendjet" when it first came out a few years ago and it was totally worth it. The 2 complaints I had with it were that it lacked some power with thicker shake powders and the charging port became finicky and I would have to jiggle the cable to get it to charge. The new 2nd generation Blendi added plenty of power plus a slightly longer blend time which are fantastic upgrades. So far, the charging port seems a little more robust and only time will tell if it becomes finicky but I don't anticipate it. Also, the larger carafe makes it easier to mix ingredient and the whole blender just feels more solid. I would highly recommend purchasing this for single mix protein shakes or smoothies. Nice work guys!

Best Protein Shakes

I used to use a blender bottle to make my protein shakes every day. But using my Blendi adding ice they taste sooo much better--like a milkshake.
Also, for after workout protein shakes, I add fruit carbs that we all need to help build muscles.

The only thing I wish is that it had a larger container. Only being 1 1/2 cups gives you barely 8 oz of fluid if you want to add ice or frozen fruit.

I love BLENDi!

I received a BLENDi as an incentive from my company, it has become my go to for blending instead of a frother. I ordered one for my sister for Christmas and have been told she uses it for everything as well. We plan on purchasing another so we always have it charged and ready for my husband and myself to use!

Quiet, convenient, and powerful

This is the perfect blender for people who are on the go or people that need to blend early in the morning and need something quiet. It’s very powerful, quiet , and easy to use. The owner is also very knowledgeable in the supplement and fitness space which makes the design of the product even better.

This worked for me around One Time

I only ever got one use out of this blender. I determined that It was not my electricity that was the issue. They built planned obsolescence into it, much as Apple has done. I purchased one more wire, before calling it a day. I'll give it one more go, while the wire is plugged in, and update this review should it work as a sedentary blender - however this isn't anything more than a water bottle with a few sharp edges in it. I initially bought in to this product due to the ice crushing capabilities - but at this point it cannot even crush fruit.

Nice Product But Doesn't Last

I ordered two Blendis, which I was very happy with. They were a bit glitchy to turn on at first until you get the hang of it. I used one of them. I didn't use the other one except for one time to make sure it worked. The first issue I had was the top jar is difficult to screw onto the base or the unit won't turn on. That is probably the reason I had a problem with the unit after a short time of use. The white plastic gasket that secures the plastic jar to the base bunched up, probably because of the force it takes to screw on the plastic jar to the base. It is even more difficult to screw on the plastic jar now, or the unit won't start. It is only a matter of time before the gasket breaks entirely. I contacted the company and they sent me a replacement and said there was only one left of that color. We received it quickly BUT it's defective. The base only half charges even after charging it for over 12 hours, and we did this several times. I contacted the company explaining what happened. I told them that I don't care if another replacement part is a different color than my unit, but they said they had none available.

Don't expect these units to last for any length of time, since they are flimsy when comparing them to other blenders. But for the short time I use them, I will enjoy them. Helpful hint: Don't unscrew the jar from the base after each use. Leave it on and hold your finger over the USB port to wash it. Then leave the jar with the base open to air dry. That way, you won't have to constantly stress the gasket when screwing the jar on and off the base.

Honest Review—Blendi Pro+

I posted on reddit awhile back asking what kind of blender would be a good option for a college student looking for something not too expensive that would still have the capability to crush ice and handle tough veggies. A redditor from BLENDI reached out to me to offer me a free blender to try out, in exchange for posting an honest review of the product. The blender is usually $60. I'm not being paid for this and I AM a picky bitch so I will not hold back, trust. So let's get into it:

Overall/tldr: This is a good blender that mostly does what it's supposed to do. It has some quirks and annoying design features, but it also has a powerful motor, holds charge an impressively long time, and hasn't exploded from any of the weird things I put in it yet. I give it a 8/10.

Now for the excruciatingly detailed breakdown.

Blending effectiveness 7/10: To its credit, this thing has managed to blend everything I have put into it so far. This has included some pretty gnarly stuff, like ginger, onion, and ice cubes. It didn't even make scary noises as it chewed everything up. HOWEVER, and while this is really the only con of the blending abilities, it is also QUITE annoying, the design of the blender creates eddies which lead to several relatively large chunks of whatever you're blending not being blended. This happens with both very soft things, like banana, and very hard things, like ice, so it isn't a power issue. It can be fixed easily by shaking the blender while or between blending, but you really shouldn't have to do that imo. That said, as long as things are actually circulating the texture is incredibly smooth. Even the Vitamix I used back at home needed to be run for much longer to prevent a gritty texture or ice shards, while everything (with the exception of a couple isolated larger chunks) is super silky after only a bit of blending with the BLENDi.

Convenience 8/10: The thing is tiny, which is a plus considering it is marketed towards college students and those without a lot of space. It's also battery powered, making it portable. The real question is, why? I am a little mystified at the necessity of a battery powered blender, because when do you want to blend something without a wall outlet nearby? Even dorms have wall power pretty much 100% of the time. But it's not really my job to question the business model so all I can say is it works as intended. My only gripe on this front is about cleaning: the blender has two silicon gaskets, one at the base and one at the cap, to create a tight seal. They NEED to be removed and thoroughly cleaned after every use or little bits of smoothie stuck under them will rot and smell unbelievably horrible. This isn't too horribly much of a pain if you know to do it, but my gaskets still smell faintly of rotten banana so I'm taking two points off. Also, the cylinder unscrews directly from the base, which is permanently attached to the blades, as opposed to most blenders where the blades are contained in the cylinder which is set atop the base. Don't be like my girlfriend and unscrew the cylinder from the base while the blender is full of smoothie.

Battery 10/10: Sure I am a little dubious about whether the venn diagram for appliances with batteries and appliances that are blenders really NEEDS to overlap, but given that it does, this is definitely the best case scenario. I was very impressed that the battery lasted as long as it did (probably 4-5 smoothies), and it charges relatively quickly. Unfortunately, there is no measure of battery life that I have seen before it turns off due to low charge. This can be annoying if you are wanting a smoothie only to find out after 5 seconds that you need to wait 30 minutes for the thing to charge enough to blend one. Theoretically remembering to charge the thing based on how much you've used it since the last charge would solve this issue, but somehow it's never crossed my mind.

Great little blender!

I received this as a birthday present from my husband. I used the blending flavors and 1 ounce of vodka in the flavoring is phenomenal. I can’t wait to take this on the goal like on my boat when I go out in it. Did a great job inventing this, I will be using this all the time.

Initial Review.. My honest thoughts

1. It is a very small portable blender, not suitable for "meal" protein smoothies. 2. I tested it with frozen fruit and water and it does not completely blend the fruit. Still drinkable but not fully liquifying the fruit. Perhaps needs a longer blend time.
3. I don't think I've tested it long enough to leave a durability review as I need to see its condition over a few months.
4. The most positive thing about it is its size and portability, can potentially be great for travelling and small smoothie drinks on the go

Best Blendi Blenders

Purchased four Blendi Pro+ blenders with some issues, but the company was very accommodating in resolving. I love the power they pack (120 watts) for crushing ice and frozen foods and the fact that replacement parts are available. There’s a lot of personal blenders on the market, but they don’t measure up to the Blendi Pro+ features.

My only disappointment was that I wasn’t able to get a 5th Blendi (pink-out of stock) for my great niece, who started college this year, and had to purchase another brand from another company.

blendi and x

First, I bought the blendi and was completely blown away by how quickly it made my smoothie, and without having to get out my blender. Awesome! It was not quite large enough, so I ordered the X, It did amazing, but I had to charge it more, so I called customer support, thinking something was not right. They were great and offered to send me another base, which I am now waiting for. Great product and amazing customer service. I definitely would rate this 5 stars. So easy and convenient!

Product Review: Blendi Pro+ by Swirl Labs (Promotional product)

I received the BLENDI PRO+ smoothie maker from Swirl Labs for only the cost of shipping. At first glance, it seemed rather small, but it was able to make a fairly good-sized smoothie with three cups-worth of blended mix. My first smoothie was a straightforward blend of strawberries, bananas, powders and oat milk. The run time is 20 seconds which was sufficient for this combination, I did a second spin with a bit of extra banana added as the smoothie was a bit thin. Overall, this did the job well and will be an effective travel smoothie maker, better than my current BlendJet travel smoothie maker.

You have to remember to put the motor into the right direction, where the measurement scale begins as it is a pain to flip the container if you try inserting it on the other side. The USB-C charge cable provided charged the base in about 4 hours, and it seems to be still fully charged. I will try with more complex blends but this is a good product in my opinion.

Blendi pro review

Hi everyone, I just got a new blendi pro+ blender and wanted to share my thoughts on this product! To be transparent I received this item for free, but I want to keep this review as unbiased as possible.

Overall I’d give it an 8/10. My favorite part is how compact it is, it’s really nice for apartment living when you don’t want to get a massive blender. Additionally I can see this product being super useful for travel if you are staying at a hotel or something. My least favorite part is the size, obviously that’s the trade off you make when choosing something compact but sometimes it would be nice if it were bigger.

Positives: -Compact. I have limited kitchen space and it really is nice to have a blender not be massive and take up a ton of space. -Does its job. I haven’t done anything incredibly thick yet but berries, ice, yogurt, milk (all the basics) work fine and it has no trouble -Easy to clean. Because of its size it’s super quick to clean.

Negatives: -Size. might not be able to make super large smoothies if that’s what you want to do -Charging. I’m not a real fan of how you have to rely on battery and can’t use it while charging.

Now would I buy it if I weren’t given it for free? At $59 I think the price is competitive based on what I saw on Amazon, so if I were looking for a small portable, compact blender I would definitely consider buying this item. But if size is a dealbreaker for you then maybe not
