Not what I expected sooo much more! Why weren’t you around at the beginning of summer❤️
After receiving my Blendi last week, I immediately put it to the test after a fruit run to trader joe's, adding ice, apple juice, blueberries, bananas and strawberries to it. What I ended up driving to the office with in my car was THE most delicious and refreshing beverage, far healthier than a cup of coffee and the cleanup was a piece of pie when I finished. Anyone and Everyone who values health and wellness needs to have Blendi Pro in their kitchen!!!
Love Love this blender! And the flavors are fantastic. Great gift to give!
As a busy commuter constantly struggling for time, the promise of making a smoothie in my car felt like a futuristic fantasy. That's why I immediately said yes to trying the Blendi Pro +. And while the concept is crazy-awesome, I quickly learned that the "Pro" + part means there's a little learning curve involved.
My teenage stepson and I have been putting the Blendi Pro through its paces, and I'm sharing my honest thoughts on our experience.
My very first attempt was a spectacular failure. I tried to blend frozen fruit and it just wouldn't crush completely, leaving me with chunky liquid disappointment. Humiliatingly, my hubby immediately stepped in and achieved a perfectly smooth consistency on his first go. Apparently, there is a method, and the instructions are key.
After that initial hiccup, I started to notice a few crucial elements that determine success with the Blendi Pro:
The Starting Order: You must use liquid first. This is non-negotiable for a smooth blend.
The Capacity Rule: You absolutely have to leave space at the top. Overfilling the container prevents the blades from properly catching the ingredients.
Patience Pays Off: Forget the standard 20-second blend time, especially if you're using frozen fruit. I found it often needs more time than that to achieve a genuinely nice consistency.
Keep it Charged: This makes sense, but as the charge dips, the blending power diminishes and it takes noticeably longer to finish the job. Regular charging is a must if you plan to use it daily.
My stepson still seems to do it with a breeze, but after a few more attempts (and paying closer attention to his technique), I've managed to get much closer to his five-minute smoothie prep time.
The core value of the Blendi Pro + —being able to create a healthy drink while I’m on the go—is fantastic. It has easily slotted into my morning routine and genuinely saves me time.
However, there are a couple of minor drawbacks:
Size: I do wish it was a bit bigger. If I’m really hungry, the portion it produces feels a little small.
Cleaning: My stepson wishes it were dishwasher safe, though I don't find the manual cleaning to be a huge hassle. Though, it would be a positive addition.
Ingredient Container: It's not truly big enough for on the go making. I put the liquid in it and require another container for the fruit.
Final Verdict/TLDR:
The Blendi Pro + is a nice product that lives up to its promise of portable blending power. While there is definitely a technique to master regarding filling, blending time, and charge status, the convenience it offers for someone with a busy commute is unmatched. I would absolutely recommend this product, especially if you're someone who is constantly on the move. Like me! I can see it being handy for things like road trips and look forward to using it more.
I recently got the BLENDi blender and so far I’m really impressed. I love how portable and wireless it is—it makes it super easy to blend my shakes anywhere. For its size, it blends pretty well, and it’s convenient for quick, on-the-go smoothies. I’m still fairly new to using it, so I haven’t tested how long the battery lasts after many charging cycles, but so far it’s been reliable.
I also own a Vitamix, which of course has much more power and can handle bigger jobs, but that’s not really what I’d expect from a portable blender. The BLENDi definitely fills a different need: it’s lightweight, compact, and perfect for travel or when I don’t want to deal with the bulk of a full-size blender. Overall, I’m pleased with it and think it’s a great option for anyone looking for a convenient, smaller blender.
